الموقع الألماني "Macerkopf" نشر صورة جديدة مسربة من تطبيق واتس آب و يظهر فيها بوضوح ميزة الاتصال المرئي على التطبيق، و هي ميزة متوفرة منذ مدة في تطبيقات منافسة كـ سكايب أو فايبر و غيرهما، لكن يبدو أن فيسبوك ستدمجها قريبا في تطبيق واتس آب تطبيقا لسياسة التعديلات التي تدخلها بين الفينة و الأخرى على تطبيقها للتراسل الفوري.
و يبدو أن واتس آب تحضر هذه المفاجأة الجديدة لإضافتها في أفق بداية سنة .
